I saw the newa about the Kinks room in the Hornsey Journal. Shouldn't the pub be renamed " The Klissold"

As a Kinks fan for over 40 years, it's nice to meet on this site almost all the musicians that played with the Kinks, and that I've seen on stage numerous times between 1972 and 1986, Pete being the only one I haven't seen perform. Sadly, he passed away in 2010...

Chaps & Dolls! What a more than wonderful piece on the site, concerning the making of the clip of “LOST & FOUND”! IMHO one of the best music-clips EVER. Great song, great story, great acting. A treasure! When I want to impress any person with the Sound & Vision of The Kinks I show ‘em this clip! Next, they all fall for it! Of course! Only a shame that so many clips (including this one) still aren’t obtainable properly, on DVD, in good quality. After all these years…….. Henny (Formerly One of “The Kinky2” and now One of “The Dutch Riffers”)

One of those special nights we experience at Mr Kyps from time to time. Thanks for a great gig. Quick question for Jim. Will you be performing with The Zombies at Kyps on the 12th May? I have the tickets.

Thanks to the Kinks for such brilliant entertainment last night delivered with consummate professionalism, which electified the entire proceedings. We really enjoyed it greatly, and it is as always an inspiration to see playing at that sort of standard for peolpe lie me who play in a Band and strive to improve all the time. Great to meet Dave thru his daughter Nadine - thanks! The Brook is a great venue for that intimate feel, so much better than stadiums! Barnaby the Bass player!

Subject:Re: USA
Good question, Don. The band would love to play some dates in the USA and will be looking at the possibilities, but, sadly, Dave Davies still seems antipathetic. Obviously, if the inclusion of the word "Kinks" in the name is blocked again, it just wouldn't work, as only real aficionados would know who "The Kast Offs" were.

I recall you had some USA dates scheduled several years ago but Dave Davies stopped them. Will you try to play some USA dates in the future or will you encounter the same problems? Don

Greetings to Geoff, Olga, KOKs2... Great website, darlings! Still reminisce fondly about the KOKs1 at Hook Norton a few years back...it was great to see everyone then; how grand would it be to see everyone now! Greetings to Jim Rodford...nice to see you in the line-up (remember "the girls" in California - The Relay), and Ian (not sure you'll remember me - it was quite a while ago). Love, Luna

Really glad to see The Kast Offs still going...the other members of The Kinks were never given the respect they were due from, shall we say, the leaders. I hope I can get over there to see you perform. All the best to the 2 Johns as well...I hope they make guest appearances from time to time! All the best, guys!
